Kari Light, MS PA-C, is a 2005 graduate of Delaware Valley High School. She completed her undergraduate studies at King’s College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Studies and a minor in Biology. She continued her education at King’s College, earning her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2010. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physicians Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physicians Assistants and the Pennsylvania Society of Physicians Assistants.
She began her medical career with Dingmans Medical Center in 2010, serving our community for three years before relocating to North Carolina. While in North Carolina, she was employed with Rural Health Group and provided care to a largely underserved population. This experience helped foster her passion for primary care and helping the underserved. Believing that knowledge is power with regard to personal health concerns, she focuses on getting to know each patient individually and strives to educate her patients so they may better understand and improve their overall health.
Born and raised in Dingmans Ferry, PA, she is thrilled to return to the area and provide medical care in her hometown community. In her free time she enjoys playing for a local women’s softball team, singing, playing the piano and hiking with her family.
